About Us
The Wharf at Goldstone is a hidden jewel in the heart of the North Shropshire countryside. It is an immaculate caravan park, picturesque pub, canal side gardens, boat moorings and holiday cottages situated next to Bridge 55 of the Shropshire Union Canal, and run by the same family for nearly 50 years.
It offers peace and tranquility in beautiful, rural surroundings and farmland. The canal-side gardens sweep down to the water’s edge, perfect to enjoy a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
We endeavour to make your visit an enjoyable one; you won’t be disappointed and we promise you will return time and time again.

Caravan Park
The touring park is open all year, with 25 seasonal pitches and 25 touring caravan/motorhome pitches. It is an excellent base to explore local attractions or enjoy the unspoilt countryside.
Dogs welcome on the caravan park but NOT inside the pub, sorry!

The Wharf Tavern is a popular stopping-off place for people travelling either by road or canal. We offer traditional, home-cooked meals made with fresh ingredients sourced locally and a good selection of cask ales, beers and wines sourced from Tanners in Shrewsbury. On a summer’s evening, you can enjoy your meals and refreshments in the picturesque garden, and in the winter, there are roaring fires to keep you warm.

Two unique holiday cottages offering comfort and character in a tranquil, countryside setting. a cosy waterside escape and the perfect base for a relaxing getaway.
The Boathouse is a delightful waterside retreat, sleeps 2, literally on the edge of the Shropshire Union Canal in the grounds of the Wharf Tavern pub. A great location to watch the narrowboats chug by.
Short breaks from £95 per night, minimum booking 3 nights.
Homestead Barn is a beautifully-renovated barn conversion, sleeps 4, with a hot tub and log burner. A perfect location for a romantic break, couples or a self-catering family holiday.
